Iran Launches Website Designed to Foster Economic Ties

Iran’s Embassy to The Russian Federation officially launched a bilingual website (access via: www.irrutrade.ir
) specified to improving bilateral economic ties. Mahmoud Vaezi, Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak were distinguished guests of the event.
The website provides Iranian and Russian traders, businesspersons and entrepreneurs with accurate and up-to-date information on financial and monetary issues. Mehdi Sanaei
, Iran’s ambassador to Russia, proposed the idea of the website and the Economic Division of the Embassy seriuosly has made it into practice.
Earlier, Minister Vaezi was addressing a Friday meeting in Moscow between delegations of the Iran-Russia joint economic cooperation commission, co-chaired by Minister Novak. Iranian Minister said the agreements made in the 12th session of the joint economic commission, which was held in Moscow in November 2015, have established a roadmap for bilateral cooperation.
The Iranian minister also added that Tehran and Moscow have signed very important documents for cooperation over the past two years and set up working groups to implement them.
Minister Novak also highlighted the significance of the lifting of sanctions against Iran, and expressed Russia’s readiness to cooperate with Tehran to increase banking transactions. He added that Iranian and Russian delegations signed a memorandum of understanding in Moscow on Thursday to boost space cooperation.
